Calling all JJ Pearce Volunteers!!! 

The JJ Pearce PTA is supported by all of our wonderful volunteers from around our community.  With as many activities as are going on at any given time around the school, we are always in need of volunteers.

A few of the events we need volunteers for are:

• Lunch on the Lawn  - 2-3 times a year, Raising Cane’s, the Dad’s Club, local food trucks and other groups set up outside on Senior Way for a fun outdoor lunch.  PTA staffs the Raising Cane’s booth which is a small fundraiser and then gives a portion of the proceeds to the Student Government.

• Clothes Closet – The Clothes Closet is an amazing service that RISD provides to any RISD student in need.  Our volunteers help at the RISD Clothes Closet by sorting and stocking incoming donations and assisting students.

• Used Book Fair – The PTA collects 1000’s books for the RISD Used Book Fair each year.  The books are sorted, packaged, delivered to the venue and prepped for sale. 

In order to volunteer in RISD, you must complete a background check.

There will be other areas we will need your help as the school year progresses so let us know what activities you would like to get involved in and we will find the perfect fit for you. Some are:
